Pål Nygaard
Pål Nygaard, BI Norwegian Business School, Norway (2026-2029)
Pål is an Associate Professor at BI Norwegian Business School and currently serves as Head of BI’s Center for Business History. His main research interests lie at the intersection of business history, the history of technology, and environmental history. He has previously investigated engineers, infrastructure, nuclear energy, and research and development for industrial and technological development. As a member of the EBHA Council, Pål aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment, particularly for early-career scholars. He also seeks to encourage greater participation from historians in the Nordic region in EBHA activities and to strengthen connections with scholars working in the history of technology and environmental history.
